University of Derby Run for Alzheimer’s

University of Derby Lacrosse Club recently completed a charity 5k run, at Alton Towers, in support of Alzheimer's Research UK.

The UK’s biggest theme park hosted the event on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November, with people participating in 5k, 10k, and half marathon runs around the park over the duration of the weekend. All those involved were also rewarded with free ride passes after completing their run!

Several Derby University lacrosse players ran alongside Derby University Geological Society, in partnership with the university’s Union of Students.
