University of Derby: Mixed Teams and Marathons
ULO October Review
ULO for Derby, Alex Metcalfe, reports a substantial growth in the size of the university’s lacrosse team this season, and good attendance at development team training sessions too. The club offer mixed ability teams, train twice a week, and all equipment is provided- with guaranteed playing time for everyone!
Club Charity Campaigns
On 4th October, University of Derby supported the #wearitpink campaign, in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and sported their pinkest kit to training! One new player also ran the London Marathon in memory of her father this month and fundraised donations for charity.
An Insight into Lax Life
Although the season has already started, University of Derby Lacrosse always welcome new players to join both their Men’s and Women’s Teams! Training is on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm, on the Kedleston Road pitches. See the video below for an insight into life playing with their lacrosse club!
