University Lacrosse Returns for 2024/2025

England Lacrosse’s University Lacrosse Officer Programme has also returned for its sixth year, with a number of new and exciting institutions joining the initiative. New recruits include Oxford Brookes, Durham University, Swansea University, and Warwicks Medics Lacrosse Team.
An impressive 27 students have joined the programme, and after attending their initial virtual induction only a month ago, many are already making an impact on their university lacrosse scene! For the latest student lacrosse stories, please visit our dedicated newspage here.
Their initial online gathering was a pivotal step in ensuring every ULO was well-prepared for the year ahead and trained in a variety of remits relevant to the role- from coaching beginners groups, to networking with local community clubs, and conducting effective athlete recruitment.
The next exciting step involves inviting our new intake to attend several in-person regional introduction meetings. These gatherings will prove integral to building relationships between neighbouring institutions, and will offer the opportunity for officers to connect, share strategies, and even arrange local friendlies.
In a month’s time, our officers will also partake in a virtual webinar with our programme sponsor RPC, for graduate careers tips, advice, and more information regarding their training scheme opportunities. Stay tuned to hear more and keep up-to-date with the latest university lacrosse and ULO programme news!
